My Background
I am currently completing my master’s degree in social work at Loyola University Chicago with a specialization in mental health. Pursuing a career in social work is a small career shift for me as prior to this, I worked in the field of higher education and student affairs for many years. Within higher education, I’ve worked at various colleges and universities in residence life, case management, and student support services. My work with college students deepened my passion to pursue a career in social work and support those from diverse backgrounds. I also have experiences in community mental health where I grew and deepened my passion for maternal and family wellness. As a member of Flourish Counseling, I center unique social justice based and trauma-informed approaches focused on communal and relational therapy. I utilize a collaborative approach that focuses on relational and process-oriented forms of care to co-create a space where individuals can show up as their authentic selves.
Education, Training, & Specialization

I previously interned at a community mental health agency where I provided therapy to clients in differing life stages. I have completed trainings in trauma-informed care, restorative justice, and motivational interviewing.
